PsOne player?

So I have this retarded craving to play FF8. Ive got the game discs and I remember WAAAY back when there used to be a program that would allow you to play PSone games on your pc. Anyone know if there is such a thing that will work with Vista? Thanks!

sorry ukelele_ninja, EMULATION is not to be discussed here,
you can google, i have that emulator though and i've only get street fighter alpah 3 to play !! .
And the one i have does not work on vista

yup it will be still emulating, even if you have original cds.
Because you are not playing it in a PS1 , somewhere along the lines like porting leopard or Tiger on a PC !!!

well thats a bummer. When I read up on it I thought they said it was legal to use as long as you owned a PSone and the game which I do. I just wanted to play it on my pc. Oh well.

Emulation is such a taboo topic in general, so we prefer it not to be discussed here. You can probably find an old PSX or perhaps a decent PS2 for fairly cheap if you have the disk.

But anyway, closing the topic.
