one of the worst things about the psp is that it scratches and gets dirty easy.
when i was cleaning the screen i scratched it.

does anybody know where i can take it to to get it fixed? does anybody know how much it will cost?

well you should of bought a screen protector. one of the first thing i did.
but anyways you can use that liquid scratch fix or w/e its called but it can fix scratches of of thing like glasses or psp screens.and doesnt cost much

or if itrs a fairly new psp ,meaning 90 or less days from the time you bought it, then you can get a new psp or you bought the extended warranty unless you didnt and its after the waranty which in that case do the thing i said above or get a new psp. ive never heard of a place that replaces the psp screen.

yup a protector. that's what I would do. :D I still haven't gotten it yet, I'm still saving up for it.

the main problem with the psp is that it has this lovely glossy finish to the plastic, this means that even the tiniest little scuff will stick out like a sore thumb.
ive been waiting since before christmas for psp... i'm expecting it sometime this week lol.
i would try a plastic polish if the screen isn't badly scratched, however i wouldn't recommend using something like a dremel with the polishing piece as that creates a lot of heat and will melt the screen.... i say this from personal experience lol

well i got somebody at my school that will buy it from me for $200. so i will take that money and get 50 more dollars and buy a new psp and a screen protector.

you could buff the scratches out with very fine sand paper[start with 1000 grit, which will scrach it even more like hell, then move to 4000, 6000, 12,000, 20,000[feels like paper, actully better, if you use even the 4000 and try and sand paper, the paper will become smoother :P ) then you can even try and get some liquid polish after that.

you can get fine sand apper like that at a auto parts store.

i havent sold it yet i am still trying to convince my dad to let me sell it and buy a new one. where is this white psp your talking about i cant find it.

you could probably get one imported because psp's play games from any country, the only problem you'll have is playing umd movies

they may have improved the LCD screen as they are always looking to improve the hardware throughout its lifetime although i haven't seen anything to back this up. i do know however that there will be a drop in the size of the fabrication process in the future to improve the battery life of the unit.
