It's so you can completely shut off the power, because when the computer is shutdown using the power switch on the case or from within Windows, there is still power going to the motherboard. So if you needed to do some work on the motherboard or reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS jumper/battery, you would need to switch it off from the back.Thanks.what is that switch for? i know it turns the power supply completely off but why does it need to be there?
