Is there any software that can tell you how much of your psu is being used and/or how much power your pc needs altogether?:P

There are PSU calculators scattered over the internet for estimates of how many watts your system would use. Also most programs will tell you what voltages your PSU's running at(not really the load, but good to know)

If you want actual wattage, you need a PSU that supports it. A few have a little wattage meter you can stick somewhere on your case. Otherwise, there's not much else you can do.

No, a multimeter won't tell you how much power you're using. The only other option would be to use a Kill-a-Watt meter, which will tell you how much power is being drawn from the wall socket. If you take a guess at the efficiency of the PSU (you can normally find some info on the manufacturer website), you can get a very rough estimate of the total output.
