PSU for 8800

Bad PSU for the price, try looking to another brand and keep the amps on the 12v more than 40 and that it includes a pci-e connector as well

The ratings are quite sufficient - whether it can live up to them is the real question. I have a supposed 550W PSU with +12V@39A here, and it won't even post a system with a single core A64 and 6600. Manufacturers can essentially print whatever they want on a label.

I'm not suggesting that the PSU you're looking at is that bad, but when it comes to higher end systems like yours it pays to go with a known good performer rather than risking your system to an unproven PSU like that one.

Ok, so its worth payin a bit more to save the risk of frying my computer then.- and suggestions for a similar price?

(Its not built yet but: Core 2 E6600, mobo(unknown atm) Kingston 2 x 1gb 667 memory, Leadtek 8800 gtx, Seagate 320gb HD, Samsung Lightscribe dvd writer)

thanks
