PSU for gaming pc?

Hi Guys,

What is the best psu to go for?

CX600 or Be Quiet Pure Power 600 watts?


Budget is £50-65

Corsair as it has a single rail. The other one has 2 rails at 30 amps each but really haven't heard about the brand before.

Would get the corsair. The Pure Power 600 is made by HEC.

Hmm, i was leaning towards the corsair.

Any others in my price range that are better? Would like to power a GTX 580 and (If my budget allows and i get lucky with prices at the time) an i5 4670k.

I'd get the CX600M. It's £59 or so on Novatech, you may be able to get it for less elsewhere http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/powersupplies/cp-9020060-uk.html

It's a good power supply. 600W is plenty for one GTX 580 and it's semi-modular too.

I got a XFX ProSeries Core Edition 750W and i have no problems! Bought it because i heard that Corsair's low price psu's had some problems.

CX600 is fine. I have the non modular version and it's been rock solid for over 2 years. Quiet too.

The Corsair has a higher current delivery (1A). I'd go with that.

Go with the CX600... It's what I'm building with, and it's what 4 of my friends built with.. They all seem to love it..
