I originally planed to get a 750 watt powersupply for my core i7 pc. If I plan to overclock the CPU and GPU should I get a higher watt powersupply or will 750 watts be enough?

Setup:
920 core i7 (plan to overclock)
TRUE cpu cooler
6 GB ddr3 ram
1 TB HD x2 raid 0
GTX 285 (plan to overclock)
Antec 1200
Corsair 750 psu
evga x58 motherboard

I'm not too big into oc'ing knowledge but 750 seems likely to be adequate.

That will be fine with your setup.

Will you have only one graphics card? Then that 60amp psu may work fine.
This one is a better choice for 72Amps:

That's not how you calculate the rails. Take the total watts provided on the +12V rails and divide that by 12. that will give you a more approximate estimation. With that unit, you get about 48 amps.
