My buddy is tring to build himself a computer cause I bought myself a new one. So he's telling me what he picked out and whatnot.
I wanna know how big of a PSU you need for a SLI 9800GTX+ computer.
The specs of his computer is:
Q6600
eVGA 750SLI mobo
4GB of Corsair Dominator
WB Caviar Black 1TB
Then he told me he picked out the Corsair HX1000. He told me that he asked around and people told him it needs 1000 watts to run it.
I told him the Corsair TX750W is plenty for that system. Since he won't be overclocking or anything.
