i bought a Premium Doom Series and it has a 400watts PSU . I was wondering if that PSU is powerfull enough to run all my computer stuff? for example a

A8N - SLI Deluxe M/B with
Nvidia 256MB video card
1GB PC3200
and all the rest.

How many hard drives and CD/DVD drives do you have, what type of nVidia card is it, and what is your processor?

is goin to be

1 DVD RW drive
1 CD Drive
120 or 160gb
and Nvidia 6800

whats a good video card to run any game on high setting?

If thats a 6800 card (not GT or ULTRA), then your case PSU should be enough. But if your going to be getting 2 video cards, you will need a special power supply thats designed for 2 video cards.

And i'd say that anything above a 6800GT should play the most recent games at highest settings, or close to it. But of course the 7800GTX is the best card out right now.

Im not sure about this since i didnt do any research, but i think that an ATI x850XT PE is about the same or a little better than the 6800GT. But you cant SLI ATI cards.

im not planning to sli cards for now.

so do you think the doom series case PSU is good? or should i get a better brand?

Well if you went with an ATI card, then there wouldnt be much point in getting an SLI motherboard, you can save some money by just getting a mobo with one PCI-E x16 slot.
