PSU/MOBO help.

Hello, I have a problem with my new MOBO and PSU. I just bought a 480W PSU with a 20+4 pin connector: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817709010, and I have a new Geforce 7600GT which requires a 400W PSU Minimum. Now I have a new Micro ATX board that I got from a friend that had a 300W PSU hooked up with a 24 pin connector in the main MOBO power connector, and a 4 pin hooked into the (CPU?) only available 4 pin there was. My problem is that I only have one 4 pin connector that can go either with the 20 pin as it came, or in the 4 pin leaving 4 pins untouched on the main connector. Can I hook the full 20+4 pins into the main connector and leave the 4 pin one open or, can I hook the 20 pin into the mobo's main and hook the 4 pin into the 4 pin? Or should I just blow more money on a 24 pin PSU with an extra 4 pin?

hook the main connector up to the main connector on the mobo leaving the 4 pin attached to it unconnected (won't hurt anything) and hook the other 4 pin into the 4 pin connector

I would return that psu anyway its a crap psu that won't last you very long and if something goes wrong could take down your whole system. Try something like this , even has the extra 4 pin which I think you need.

antecs are good also rosewills are good too
Antecs are one of the best psu companies, rosewill's aren't quite as good but they are better then most, especially generic.
