PSU question

Hello everybody...
I have a Corsair 750 CXM PSU. I `m currently running one ASUS 480 GTX. But I`m thinking to get a nother 480 GTX on SLI. Is my PSU powerful enough to do the job?
Full spec: MSI P7N SLI Platinum
Intel Q6600 running at 3Ghz
4GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 on 1066 Mhz
1 x 480 GTX
1 x 500GB HDD
Thanks.

I have two 480s in SLI using Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W and it works, considering your 750w corsair psu is just as good as my antec I don't see why it wouldn't work. You would be pushing it a bit though.

Im thinking to get these two cards on sli and connect it to a 40 inch led tv and play games on it. Can anybody give me any advice about this? Is this a good idea?

I owning two can easily say no. They get insanely hot, and make a crapton of noise. I even de-SLIed them and now I only use one simply because of the heat. And then there's the problem of insane power draw, unless you don't mind using up a lot of energy. I would sell the 480 and grab a used 7970 since u can get one for around $160 now, that would give you a bit less performance than 2 480s but the heat and noise would be worth it.

No to everything. No, to 480SLI as your 40" TV is only 1080P, and a single 480 will run it just fine. Secondly your PSU is underpowered for 480SLI as at max it will draw around 850W (system). Plus the heat and noise - not a good idea.

Point. You don't need a new GPU.
