Psu

Probably not, assuming you get a good brand PSU of greater amperage than your current model. What is your current PSU?

If I get a better power supply will my PC be faster?
No it wont be faster, and your pc crashing most likely doesnt have to do with your power supply, its most likely windows related.

well it could , because video cards downclock themselves when they are starved of power. So if your psu isn't providing enough power right now, getting a better one might be able to speed up your system.

But if you look at his specs, there not the most demanding. I dont think that upgrading to a new psu would make a noticable difference.

Are you sure that gpu's downclock? i think they just dont run. The cpu on the other hand will downclock if its too hot.

If you have a really crappy PSU and you get a nice one, then it can make everything run more stabilier, instead of jumps which thus can increase proformace..a little.
