Putting in Video Card Problems

Hello. I've gotten the Video Card in. Now I need to snap it in. There's this litle black thing that looks like it's used to snap it in. I can't quite get it to snap though, does somebody know what's wrong? Btw, I'm using:

Where is this thing? back of the card? (towards the RAM)?

no, it's against the back of the case. bASICALLY it's where the connection things in the back are.

You mean for the PCI slot cover with the DVI/VGA ports in back? a little retention thing so the card doesnt move around when you plug stuff in?
