putting music onto powerpoint presentation

i have made a presentation of 6 slides. I want one song to play over all of the slides, i have the music working when i play it on my computer but when i email it the music does not work. I have changed the format from MP3 to WAV but its still not working.

The problem could be that when you insert the music into the powerpoint the actual music file is not incorporated, perhaps it is only linking to the music file, in which case you would have to email the music file along with the powerpoint file. Just a guess... I don't ever insert sound into my powerpoints.

i thought that when you put a song or sound onto a presentation in WAV format it automaticaly embeded it.

the person i want to send it to has microsoft 03 (i think) but when i saved it i did save it as powerpoint 97 - 2003
