Hey all!
I am in the market for a TV card for my pc, but I am totally lost as to which one of the seemingly thousands of cards available I should choose. I want to view video at a High Resolution, I want to be able to record it to my pc (much like a VCR) and I would LIKE to be able to pause and rewind like I could with a PVR. BUT...I do not want a tv tuner to use these features. I am on digital cable and need to use my digital box tuner to get the digital channels. So a standard video in would allow me to connect it to my pc.
I have been talking to people and been getting conflicting answers. Some people say I HAVE to use the tuner to record to my pc, others say I don't. I am really confused about which card to purchase and would appreciate any and all advice.
