hey everybody as you can clearly tell im new to theese forums but i also am a bit of a n00b in computers also
.
k so i have a problem with one of my harddrives and ive tried alot but to no avail and im sorry if this seems really easy understand that im coming to theese forums with NO hardware experience but ya newayz when i installed this harddrive as my main and removed my older hard drive (note that my new hard drive was just an older one taken from an older computer) it gave me "pxe-e53: no bootfile found". so than i tried to install it as my secondary but windows wouldnt read it. ive tried many different combinationsof mixing and matching my harddrive wires but nothing came all i can see is my hard drive when i open up "my computer"
i just need a way on how to take the info that was on this harddrive i dont need to make use of it so if theres another method to just take the info once on the harddrive that'd be fine also
oh and if youre wondering why i dont leave this in my old computer its becuase i havent used it in awhile and when i went to go turn it on the screen was black but electricity was running through it soooo should i just replace the video card (all the plugs are in place) and re-install the hard drive in that one and take the info from there
thanks Dillon
