Q9450 or Q9550

I am looking that the Intel Q9450 and the Q9550 quad core processors. They are almost identical except for the price and basic speed of the processors. Are there any differences that a new person like myself is unaware of when looking at these CPU's and trying to decide which one to purchase? Which one would you suggest? Thank you for your time.

because of the difference in price id get the Q9450, but what do you use your computer for? do you need a quad core?
over both id choose the E8400

The Q9450 is amazing and the Q9550 has a .5 higher multiplier.
Both will do PI in under 17 seconds ( if you care about that kind of thing)

i have a Q9450, i absolutely love it. its amazing and you really dont need to spend more on something a little faster. I Overclocked it to 2.954
