Qs about SLI help

i have a few Qs about SLI

1. When Running 2 GTX's or Ultra's,looking at the 6 pin power slots for the card, do you need to plug in both to make it run?

2. so when you have two running in SLI that means u have to have four of these pluged in unless u have a ready made SLI PSU?

3. when looking at the Ultras i see 2 SLI connections ports, do u have to have 2 sli bridges connected to both cards or do u need one bridge?

oo for Question 2 , i mean do i need 4 6 pin power cords/wire or w/e

and why do i see ppl use 2 birdges and why are there 2 if theyre not required ?

I think its optional on the GTX as to use 2 bridges im sure Kof would know lol.
But yes you need 4 PCIe power connectors (2 per card) for SLI, but the card comes with the adapters

gotcha thanks ya im going to build a rig soon for my moms friend, his brother works in the oil excavation industry so he needs the graphics to look at maps below the earth for oil so planning on running SLI but waiting for the 9800s to come out, he said doesnt matter how much , i want the best
