Quad core rumors....

So I found out today that the new Quad Core will be out in November. I also heard a rumor that directX 10 will be out, along with the nvidia 8xxx series of gpu's will be out at the same time. Well, this is all well and good, but is there going to be an updated motherboard release that can handle all these new chipsets? Thanks.

I know some motherboards are stating that they are compliant with the new quad-cores. But you don't need a special motherboard for the G80 or DX10, you just need a PCI-E x16 slot.

Well, that sure makes life much easier. I'm in the middle of a build right now and was wondering if you think this MoBo will support quadcore?

ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium/WiFi-AP Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

If this doesn't support quadcore, I may need to take another look at it. I won't compromise on SLI however. That is a must. Thanks.

I heard that you will have to run a power cable from your wall, thats a 110-120vac, straight to the processor via a special adapter that costs 27 dollars.

Hows that for a rumor?
