Is there any reason to buy a Quad CPU? I hear that Windows 7 can use the Quad CPU? Is there any software that will use the Quad CPU? So if I'm going to build another computer would it be wise just to stay with the dual or go with the quad?

Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 7 all support a Quad. All depends on what your going to do with your computer if you need a X2/3 or 4 and how long you plan on keeping it.

I think one of the best buys on the market today for a processor is the AMD Phenom II 710 processor. The Phenom II 710 is a triple core processor that has more processing power than the Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 processor and is priced at $99. It really depends what you are using the computer for to suggest other components.
