I think the reason newegg went up is because the OEM was $199 but they ran out and all the have left is the retail with fan version that always sells for more. but yes, tiger is now $289, I hope it goes down a bit before august when I will be buying one.

Newegg never sold the OEM, it was always retail. It's all supply and demand.
