ok on mp there is soethig called punkbuster

what is and how do i play at severs that use it

Just about all servers use it.. It's ani cheat software. All you do is instal it with the game and enable it.

so would i have to reinstall the game to use it or what
cuz theres not many severs that i can play on

I'm not sure if you can instal it seperatly.. I would just reinstal it yes.

Yes of course It'll ask you to install PB when you install the game. I'm sure you can find the save files in the q4base directory. Just save those files and put them back when you have reinstalled. You'll then be able to pick up where you left off.
