Quake 4 multiplayer problems

Does anyone know what does this mean when I try to connect to multiplayer?

it means that, for that server, you must have thier punkbuster(anti-cheating) software installed and enabled to play.(for obvious reasons)

should be included with the game. you may have to reinstall. there should be an option to install punkbuster during the reinstall. but check out the options menu first and see if you can do it without a reinstall.

or you could just play on servers that dont have it, if there are any?
