Quake4 & Doom3

I've played Quake4 and Doom3 for years and I've never been able to find another game like these 2. When Quake Wars enemy territories (Quake5) came out I thought that was crap. So does anyone have any suggestions?

Haha, another Quake 4 fan. I thought I was alone.

Check out Prey, it runs on the same engine as Doom and Quake. Hmmm try Crysis? It's sci-fi of somesort though you fight humans in the beginning.

I'm checking gamespot right now for Sci-Fi games and one with high scores is Dead Space.

Dead Space is a good one. You just have to get used to the 3rd person camera angle if your not used to it already.

EDIT: This thread made me re-install Doom 3 and play it for 10 minutes before I got bored

Check out Quake Live! It's a free online game.

gameplay wise you'd definitely want to check Unreal tournament 3, unreal series and quake series have pretty much mirrored gameplay.

a looser with looser similarities would be team fortress 2, it brings back that old arena feel

Resurrection of Satan was pretty good. Haven't played Quake 4.
