quarantined files?

Inside of the C drive WINDOW there are these hidden files. Does anyone know what they are? Im guessing theyre quarantined files? Any help is appreciated.

i've read somewhere that
$NtUninstall folders are created when you install any Microsoft service pack or updates.

Yes, the 'KBxxxxxxx' parts of the file names are update codes for patches and what not. It's nothing to do with virus quarantining, it's a harmless part of updating Microsoft software.
