queation about vista

Hiya all!

i just got a new computer and got vista installed, and i have my old harddisk inside the computer as well which was used for my old computer (windows xp).
the problem is, how do i get the files from my old harddrive to the new harddrive? the files inside "my document", "my pictures" and etc. when i try, it says i dont have permission, what do i do?! i cant even look at the pictures

any help will be appreciated

try runing my computer as administrator, click the "start" menu right click my computer and hit run as administrator

thats because you set your files to private previous on xp.

still no good ><, the site provided is too simple, i dont understand it since i am a new vista user
