Question about a Core 2 Duo.

I have been out of the overclocking game for awhile now. I have a question about a Core 2 Duo e4500. If you look at Intel's website it says that the safe operating Vcore is 1.5V. Now I have have my motherboard set to 1.55 Vcore, with Vdroop at 100% load it is at 1.456 (under the 1.5V). At idle my voltage sits at 1.512 Vcore. My question is after Vdroop is that a safe range to be in for prolonged use? Also at 1.512 not under load will that hurt my processor? Pretty much what I'm asking is that what is the safe range for this processor? What is the limit for prolonged use? Also keep in mind that my temps under full load of 10 hours of prime95 are between 58C-62C.

Thanks, M!K3

Well personal preference is never go above it period....if anyone is wrong here you could fry your board/chip. Which is most likely why no one replied to this thread.

There should be a option or at least there is for my board to disable Vdroop. Doing so will allow the board to determine the droop vs Intel. I noticed a .50v increase over Intel when OC my Q6600 so I could keep stable with 1.350v vs 1.400v

Ok I will have to look at that. Bootup said in another thread that 1.55 is fine as long as your temps are good. Which mine are. So I think I'm fine. What is the name of thing that disables Vdroop in your board?
