Hi
I currently own a Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 512mb GDDR5
now I want to crossfire it with another one.
My question is, do I have to get another card thats the same as that one above there, or does require to be some special card that xfires with it?
IF its the same card, can I crossfire it with a Sapphire radeon HD 4870 1Gb GDDR5?
Or does it have to be the same memory block size?

And is there a way/tool that can monitor the cards temp except the Catalyst CP? Because Ray adams tray tools does not. With that is there some way to controll the fan speed?

cheers.:good:

yes, you can CF 2 different cards, howevery, i'd reccomend getting another one of the same. (doesn thave to be the same brand, jsut the same GPU and memory size/type)

since if you get a faster card, it would lower its clocks to become equal to the slowest card in the setup. (unless they changed that, wich I doubt)
it doesnt require a special card anymore (1st generation crossfire required a master and a slave card, now all cards are the same. )
