Emperor_nero New Member Nov 25, 2006 #2 No there not compatibly, DDR2 has 240 pins while DDR has 184 pins. Also there are a TON more kinds of RAM out there from before DDR so you really need to know your motherboard make and model to know what kind of RAM it takes. Last edited: Nov 25, 2006
