Question about distribution of power in a power supply...

I am getting ready to upgrade my PC and have a 460WATT power supply. Would that be enough for getting a new processor (probably an E6600) and a new graphics card (probably an 8800GTS 640mb, but possibly a GTX if prices drop within the next month? For example, if the GTX requires 450Watts to run, would that leave only 10watts for distribution for the rest of the parts in my computer?

I would definitely get a better PSU, but it's not just all about the watts anymore. So it would help if we knew the make\model.
