question about dual channle....

if you have the same MOBO as mine do put the RAM in the slots right next to each other for dual channle? Or is one in the 1st slot and the other in the 3rd slot? Or does it not even matter?

The best thing to do is to check your motherboards manuel

My MB's dual channel config is 2 and 4th slot and 1st and 3rd

It may different for yours

It should be color coated.

With the DS3 put the sticks in the same colour slots for dual channel.
