If I were you I would post a few links up to the website these are from, people may be a little busy and wont have time to google em, also tell the forum what you will be using them for and they can give a more clear answer, sorry if it seems like I am lecturign you :) but you will probably get a reply much faster.

I've got two of the burners that geoff posted, one in two diferent computers. They work great and they're inexpensive, and NEC has been reliable for a long long time

You have to be realy careful what you buy in the way of DL DVD burners , or you will get junk. I would not buy the TEAC, or BTC OR BENQ DQ60, BENQs 1640 is a great drive there DQ60 is a rebadged TEAC. I purchased a BENQ DQ60 from newegg it will not burn DL media, no matter what, found that a lot of ppl are having the same newegg took it back for a full refund + they will pay my shiping back. They nec 3550 is an excellent drive . This is the dvd burner I bought, burns DL without a coaster, not one,

You should go to cdfreaks.com they are a lot of more knowledgeable about DVD burners. What ever you do DO NOT buy any of the "specials" dvd burners at staples, microcenter, compusa, best buy, unless you know for sure the drive inside.
