question about gtx 680

It is more likely to be bottle-necked by your amd vishera, but which vishera?

Don't get the 660 ti. Either look at the 670 if you want nVidia or look into the AMD cards in your price range.

I'm really having a hard time believing in radeon seeing there actual performance in the specific game I want but then again I havn't seen a 7950 or the 7970's performance just the hd 6950 which performs only as good as a nvidia gtx 550 ti in this game.. I believe my best bet is to just go for nvidia..
Guess ima pick up a 670, it's not really worth the extra 100 for a 680 is it? I think ima be waiting for boxing day in hopes that any of these do go on sale though

What game? I have had a 6950 and a 560ti. The 6950 just beats out the 560ti at stock but in my experience the 560 OCs a bit higher and I like nVidia's drivers better.

what game are you looking at? and with the latest performance drivers, the AMD cards about equal their nvidia equals at games they used to lose at and they still beat them at the ones they always have.

benchmarks like the ones on that site tend to show the launch performance and haven' updated to the new drivers, which is really stupid. Really from stuff like this, it makes me think AMD is obviously way more powerful, if they had nvidia's driver people, they'd be killing them in every way.
