question about hard drives

you know if you got a tower case and inside its the hard drive and the tower is situated on the floor, my question is will the tower be ok on the floor when your vacum cleaning and you accidently knock the tower will the hard drive be ok... sorry for the poor wording im crap when it comes to writing

it might if the computer is on and while the drive is working and you bang it it might crash lol

i've done far worse things with my case and my hd's stil work... only if you have the pc on and you knock the case over or something it might damage your data or harddrive.

another question is i want another hard drive what do you thinks best a sata hard drive or an external hard drive

depends on the space/cooling in your case. Sata will be faster i guess but if you just need the space to put your stuff an external drive is good i guess.

you must take your vacuming seriously because that must take some force to knock over.

its fine, turn it on ive dropped hdds before and their fine.
