Question about internet connection

Hello, I have a weird question, how come my internet is slower than my friends one? We are both connected to same router and we both have same ISP. Here´s my speedtest http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/2935571952

My bet would be a hardware issue such as your network card or possibly you have some malware on your system. How old is your computer? Are you connecting with a cable or wireless?

Maybe he has a problem similar to me, I found out that for some reason my on board network adapter will mess up, I would disable it and then re-able it and I get my speeds back up where they belong. Have a couple of friends that are having troubles also, seem like all this started about a couple of weeks ago. My guess it is an windows update that be causing problems with us. 3 different computers they run windows 7 and mine is windows 8. All x64bit OS's.

Thanks for answers, I tried to update my network driver, since it didnt work I had to do system restore, which fixed it, now we have same speed.
