You can see how some of the letters and symbols change and appear.

I hit some button by mistake on my keyboard and now every time I try and use the shift commands on my keyboard it wonèt give me the symbols I want to use. Itès shifted over to the blue symbols on the right side of my keys. Do you know what Ièm talking about or what I need to hit to fix itÉ this is a question markÉ this is an apostrapheè

Take a look at your neighbor's keyboard. There should be a function button that allows the use of the alternate keyboard and somewhere there will be a lock function. Most instances of this either the function key or the lock itself are the same color as the alternate keyboard text.
