question about monitor aspect ratios

I am wondering if it is possible to change my widescreen Samsung Syncmaster 226BW from widescreen to the standard 4:3 aspect ration. so basicly I want it to have black bars on the side and have the 4:3 ratio. the reason is I want to play my game on 4:3 and I like day to day use on widescreen. thnx

Can't you access the settings menu from the buttons on the front of the monitor?
