i have an abit IP-95 mobo and i have a intel pentium d dual 2.8 cpu in it, my friend has a c2d E8400 he is going to sell me but im not sure if it will work with my motherboard. heres a link to my mobo:

Just because its the same socket does not mean it is compatible!
