Question about Overclocking

This is proberly a silly question but what is Overclocking does it improve performance from the CPU ?

Can any laptop/desktop be overclocked?

Overclocking a CPU is basically raising the mhz. so it runs faster. Most OEM, as in name brand computers have the bios locked down so you cant overclock.
