question about PDF documents on web ??

Hello everybody, i have acrobat reader version 9 and also acrobat professional version 6 on my computer. Now the problem is that when ever i want to open PDF file directly from net. It opens in version 6 as many files need newer version therefore they fail to open in version 6. Now please advise, how can i redirect files to open in reader 9 instead of professional 6. How to make such change that when i click on PDF file on net, it itself open in reader version 9.
 
Try this,might not work though:

download a PDF file to your desktop...any will do but dont open it.

Right click on the pdf file you downloaded to your desktop and click "Open with"thenChoose default programme"...if the version 9 icon is on your desktop then select that,If its nto you need to point it to where that v9 programmes icon is so it will launch v9.
 
Uninstall the Version 6 off your computer if you don't use it, or upgrade it. Adobe is such a problematic PDF viewer, but the original, so I guess it's worth having.
