Question about the temp folder in XP...

I've noticed a folder called 'temp' at this directory 'C:\Documents and Settings\John\Local Settings\Temp'

It contains over 100MB of files. Is it safe to delete the files inside? I need to free-up some space on my drive.

Yeah it is safe to delete those. Usually, when you get an error deleting them, saying that a given file is in use, restart and clear the folder. Don't worry, you are safe to get rid of it.
