Question about ubuntu and Vista

i run ubuntu right now with 1 gig of ram. i want to run vista in a virtual server (vmware) all the time. should i upgrade to 2 gigs so i can give vista 1.5 gigs and ubunut 512mb.

depending on the level of usage of vista that would be recommended, vmware has always been a memory hog, and with vista even more so.

You want to run Vista all the time?
Why not just dual-boot?

Sorry, i didn't realize he said server. I thought he meant normal VM Ware.

It wouldn't even install on my VM ware but i think you should just try it first. Then if it's too slow then upgrade.
