Question about upgradeing my pc

Frist off, im new here so hello my name is daniel. this is two questions in one post.

Now what im looking to do is update three things here so I can play some games like need for speed and cod and others.

Im looking for a graphic card,cpu,psu.I dont have alot in my budget
around like 500.00 to spend on it Just wanted to here your thougths.

I was looking at this cpu from new egg but didnt know if it would work on my pc.
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz 6 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W

I was looking also into 600-800 watt power supply.

And as far as the graphic card,I dont know what to look for.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated thanks for your time with my questions.Ps this is an hp p6813w

actually for the cpu he can get this, slthough there won't be enough of an increase in my opinion to justify blowing 125 on it

and i'd recomend this gpu as it is just as good but it also comes with a free copy of dirt 3.
