Question about virus's

Do companies that create anti-virus programs or spyware programs have people that specialize in creating virus's as well? This would make sense because it would increase buisness and almost force people to have to get their programs.Or are virus's just created by people that have nothing better to do with their time then just make people like my waste about 2 hours fixing it =/....

Well, we are told that viruses are made by people who just want to show off, but who knows...

Yes, we are lead to believe that virus are created by peopel that have nothing better to do... maybe some are and some are not.. who knows in this day and age

Yep. Nope. It is created by people that have nothing better to do and they want to get some1 lose his computer...But it is certainly created by big corporations, and I can bet Norton creates more viruses than antiviruses.
Excuse me if you think I say s**t.
But programmers always find a way to get extra money if you know what i mean...
