i like the little vista feature in the network and sharing center where you can look at the full network map it auto generates for you, and i know that computers might not show up for a number of reasons but why dont some of my network switches show up in it? Ok so here is how my network goes as far as network hardware
CABLE MODEM=>ROUTER=>SWITCH=>SWITCH (This in room 1
SWITCH (This in room 2
SWITCH (This in room 3
SWITCH (This in room 4
MY MAIN PC (This in room 4

there are multiple computers connected inbetween but i just figured id keep them out to simplify things. So my question is why is it that the network map only shows the router and 2 switches where there are more? i know its common for a pc to not show up like i said for lots of reason but why would it be that some of my switches would not show up?

sorry about the formating it changed once i saved the post. It should look like the first switch in room 1 is connecting to the switch in room 2 and so forth
