Question about vista

i have just installed vista but it did not recognize my sound, network, or graphics card. can i use the drivers in vista or do they only work in xp. some of this may be because i am running vista though vmware, but i need to get my internet working or i cant register. i have a cable connection. can anyone help me get this working. when i go to the netwok manager and try to establish a connection, it cannot find any device. just a fyi i have a nvidia 7300 graphics card and an asus sli motherboard. i use the onboard audio and lan. thanx
 
i dont know this for sure but it might be because the beta version of Vista doesn't support your hardware (doesnt have the drivers).
 
It depends on the manufacturer or the components. I know for a fact that ATI and nVidia have Vista drivers available on their website. Large companies such as Creative should have Vista drivers, and same with the motherboards. However some off-name cards may not have Vista drivers available yet, therfor some things may not work correctly.
