So while I had an IT Tech over the other day to help build my computer (friend) he got to the bios and after changing accidently clicks cancel and exit, so therefor the whole computer trys to reboot, he accidently slips and pulls out the power cord and now my motherboard is giving me deathcode FF

It just bricked as it was saving the information. It's like Dual-BIOS - when you switch between the two, if you loose power it's bricked. Same goes for BIOS updates - you loose power and it bricks.

It's unfortunate, but that's just how it works.

So this means its just completely gone right? Nothing I can do to fix it?

Basically. You said in your other thread you did a CMOS battery reset and it didn't change anything. Only thing you can do is try and RMA it.

Ya, I just reposted it in here since it was a specific kind of thing, not just a desktop thing. Thanks for giving me a direct answer :) Only got hints and suggestions on the last one
