Question about Windows 7 and 64 bit.

I am going to install windows 7 on another drive i just put into my pc but i have 32 bit version of windows xp.. now if i use the 64 bit version of windows 7 will that be okay??? I know the pc can run 64 bit its dual core 2.8 ghz with 4 gigs of ram and a 8600 gt sooo just wondering if thats okay to get it then??

Thanks, was just about to post that i decided not to wait for anyone to answer because i was getting antzy and went ahead and did it anyways. It does work fine its cool trying this out.
