Question about Windows XP Icon Tray Windows

Once in awhile when I want to check my battery life, by moving my mouse cursor over the battery icon in the lower right hand corner next to the clock, the window that pops up is covered by the Taskbar . I have no idea how this keeps happen . Does anybody know how to stop this from happening again?

One thing to try there is checking the auto hide taskbar option found in the properties screen when right clicking on the task bar itself. The popup may stay visible longer. But the main thing is the option to keep the taskbar on top of all other windows option. That will likely block the view of any popups as well. Try unchecking that first even go back and forth a few times to see if that helps.
