Question for a GPU

Hey,

I am planning to buy a new pre-built computer and it has Nvidia GeForce gtx 760 2gb.
So my question is : is it good GPU for gaming?

Mostly I play Minecraft, BF3, will buy BF4 and maybe Titanfall (and many more games witch are less powerful games then Battlefield3 and 4)

Thanks.

It's great for your purposes, however if you are going to want to play newer games in the next year or two without upgrading, you'll be in rough shape.

OK, thanks
If am going to have problems in couple of years then I am use to it cause my old computer was Peace of sh*t :P

How much are you planning on spending on said pre built machine? You may want to consider a custom built machine for more bang for the buck.

It will be around 750€ and if I want to make custom build then the build would go around 900€. Soo yeah.

I made custom build computer. It's about 50€ more expensive, but is it worth it?

Build is:
1) MoBo: Asus B85-PRO GAMER
2) Case: COOLER Master k380
3) PSU: CORSAIR BUILDER CX500M ATX2.3 80+ 500W
4) RAM: CRUCIAL BALLISTIX 8GB DDR3 PC3-14900 CL10 KIT OF 2
5)GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 960GV-N960G1 GAMING 2GB
6)INTEL® CORE I5-4460 3.2GHZ 6MB LGA1150
7) SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200 1TB SATA 64MB
Total: 799,08€

So I want to know is it worth that 50€? I know that it is better but still.
Or what should I change in it to make it cheaper but still same good?
And I want to stay with Intel processor :)

Considering the price difference I would suggest considering my build over this one. The R9 290 performs slightly better at factory spec, has double the memory, and the i5 that you have listed is locked, so you will not be able to overclock.

EDIT: If you want to go the Intel route, I would change the build up to a z97 board, i5 4690k and the 960, but this would bump up the price.

The R9 290 is good but the prize will go too high, the gtx 960 is still good card. Like I'm not that detail freak that everything has to be maxed. Like I sayed, My last computer was Peace of sh*t so I am used to low details.

What about r9 280? It's pretty good right?
And does the VGA fit in the case?
